What is a co-op?
A. A co-op is a group of people looking for products from the same company.  Our site lists co-ops by the companies you can purchase products from.  When you go to the co-op page you will see a list of products you can purchase that will contribute to the bulk order.

How do I purchase a co-op  product?
A. To purchase a product you can add it to your cart and proceed to checkout as you would normally.  The difference here is that you will pay a 5% deposit on co-op products in order to hold your place in the co-op.  After we gather enough orders to fulfill the Minimum Order Quantity of the manufacturer, we charge the remaining amount of your purchase, and make the group order.  We will receive the order and ship each individual member's order from the co-op.

What are non co-op products?
A.
These are products that ship immediately.  There is no deposit.  We either have the product in stock ourselves or we will have it drop-shipped from the manufacturer.  Normal retail style, so no bulk discount.

How long will I have to wait to receive a co-op product?
A.

That depends on how long the co-op takes to fill up!  There is no time limit to co-ops.  However, the earlier you join a co-op the bigger the discount you receive, so there is incentive to join early.  The incentive to join late is the co-op will fill soon and your order will be processed quickly.

What does "percent complete" mean?
A.

Each co-op has a certain amount of purchases that must be reached before it will "complete".  This amount is called the Minimum Order Quantity.  As members join and make purchases, the total amount of purchases in the co-op is added to the Current Total.  Once the current total reaches the minimum order quantity, the co-op completes and starts over again for the order.  So we use percent complete to indicate how close the co-op is to filling up and an order going out.

Can I leave a co-op after I've joined?
A.

You may leave a co-op at any time by clicking on My Account and viewing your order.  A cancel option will appear by each product in the order.  This allows you to cancel individual products without losing your place (and Early Join-up Discount) for the co-op.  Your deposit will be refunded to you within 72 business hours.
 
 
Why do you charge a deposit?
A. By asking for a deposit, we feel we will discourage people who are not committed to the co-op from joining.  It also allows us to charge the remaining amount to your card when the co-op completes.

What happens to my deposit if I back out of a co-op?
A. We will refund the entire deposit back to the card you paid with within 72 business hours.

When will I be charged the full amount for the products I order?
A.
Whenever the co-op's current total reaches the minimum order, the co-op is considered complete and your card will be charged the remaining amount immediately.

How can your prices be so low?
A.

We do not carry inventory nor do we have to front money for products to be sold in the future.  These saved expenses allow us to charge a minimal markup, so the price our customers pay is much closer to the wholesale price of the product.

What if I need my product right away?
A.

Well, you can look for co-ops that are about to complete; we list these on top of the homepage (Almost Completed Co-ops).  However, if you really need something immediately, look at our non co-op products, these DO ship immediately.  If you can't find it there, then should probably check out a more traditional retail store.
